I would like to reassure all patients who attend clinic that we are taking all of the relevant precautionary measures possible to prevent the spread of the virus. The clinic is open from next week and operating as normal with the following extended measures:
We are asking all patients not to attend the clinic if they have visited or travelled through mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Singapore,Thailand, Italy and Iran until they have been in the UK without any symptoms for a minimum of seven days.
If you have the symptoms of cough, fever, or shortness of breath or have been in contact with someone with a CONFIRMED case of COVID-19 we are asking them not to attend the clinic and to dial NHS 111.
Please cancel your appointment as soon as possible if you feel ill. As a small business who is dedicated to healthcare, if I get ill I cannot help others, and my promise to you if I feel unwell is to cancel appointments until I feel better.Of course I will be using immune boosting points in every treatment, including Moxa, so if you react to Moxa please let me know so you can be scheduled at the beginning/end of the clinic.
All communal surface areas including all door handles and card machines are being regularly cleaned / sanitised.Treatment couches are being cleaned before and after each patient (which is standard) and couch roll placed in clinical waste after every treatment.
Hand washing facilities are available, and you will be asked to wash your hands before treatment. To take your pulses I will use an alcohol swab to gently wipe both wrists.
As with any evolving situation, we are closely monitoring matters and following advice from the government’s public health office.We hope that the measures that we have taken will help to ease any concerns.
